Kun's primary research focus is on road Digital Twins and Machine Learning techniques for pavement performance prediction. It covers broad research areas on Data Science, Physics-based modelling, integration between physics and Machine Learning, sensor data analysis and Big data management, as well as the overarching framework for intelligent asset management and maintenance decision-making leveraging techniques such as reinforcement learning and game theory.
